Yuzhou in Liao, Jin and Yu belongs to Xijing Road, which governs Lingxian County (now Yuxian County in Hebei Province), Lingxian County, Ding 'an County, Guangling County, Lingqiu County and Hu Fei County.
In Yuan Dynasty, Yuzhou belonged to Shangdu Road, which governed Lingxian County, Lingxian County, Ding 'an County, Guangling County, Lingqiu County and Hu Fei County.
In the Ming Dynasty, Yuzhou belonged to Datong Prefecture, Shanxi Province, and Feiling County and Ding 'an County were merged into Yuzhou (now Yuxian County, Hebei Province), which governed Guangling County, Lingqiu County and Guangchang County.
In the Qing Dynasty, Yuzhou (now Yuxian County, Hebei Province) belonged to Xuanhua Prefecture in Zhili, Guangling County and Lingqiu County belonged to Datong Prefecture in Shanxi, and Guangchang County belonged to Yizhou in Zhili.
During the Republic of China, Yuzhou was changed to Yuxian, and Chengguan Town of Yuxian was renamed Yuzhou Town on 1982.
Sixteen States were in Liao and Jin Dynasties, and Yuzhou was ruled in Yuxian County, Hebei Province, and governed Yuxian County, Guangling, Lingqiu and Laiyuan.
This area was called Daiguo and Dai Jun before the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and then Yuzhou. Until the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to two provinces and three places.
