Brand of Toyota Group

Toyota has five brands: Lexus, Hino, Thain, Daihatsu and Subaru.

Lexus: Lexus is a luxury brand owned by Toyota, which was founded in 1983. In June 2005, Toyota announced that it would change the Chinese translation of Lexus from Lexus to Lexus.

Hino: Hino is an automobile brand that produces diesel trucks, buses and other models, and occupies a high position in the market segment of medium and heavy diesel trucks in Japan.

Thain: Founded in 2003, it is the third brand owned by Toyota in North America and the youngest car brand. SainScion's English name means descendants, which symbolizes that Thain, as a descendant of Toyota, will inherit Toyota's philosophy of making cars.

Daihatsu: Daihatsu was founded in 1907, which is decades earlier than Toyota and has a history of 100 years. Daihatsu's most famous car is senya.

Subaru: Subaru belongs to Fuji Heavy Industries, and Toyota Motor Corporation owns shares in Fuji Heavy Industries. As of March 3, 20 19, Toyota held 6.82% of the shares of Subaru/kloc-0, making it the largest controlling shareholder of Subaru. Toyota can be regarded as the parent company of Subaru.
