1. If it is temporarily unable to pay the rent, the lessee and the lessor can negotiate to extend the rent payment period. If both parties reach an agreement through consultation, an agreement on deferred payment of rent shall be signed.
2. If it is really unable to pay, the lessor may terminate the lease contract and require the lessee to return the lease item.
3. Article 722 of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC): If the lessee fails to pay or delays in paying the rent without justifiable reasons, the lessor may require the lessee to pay within a reasonable period of time; If the lessee fails to pay within the time limit, the lessor may terminate the contract.
