Main functions of APG:
The system adopts the advanced single wavelength division multiplexing transmission technology of 100Gb/s, and * * * can provide 54T capacity. In addition, it can also provide high-speed access to three continents through different combinations like building blocks.
For example, it is combined with FAST, Trans-Pacific Direct Submarine Cable System (TPE) and Japan-US Submarine Cable System (JUS) to provide high-speed access from Shanghai to North America; Combined with the Eurasian submarine cable No.5 (SMW5), it can provide a high-speed passage from Shanghai to the Middle East, North Africa and Southern Europe. Combined with Asia-Pacific No.2 submarine optical cable system (APCN2), SJC and trans-Pacific direct optical cable system (TPE), it provides high-speed channels with multiple routes in Southeast Asia.
