What is the microdot case?

Rising framed Micropoint case refers to the case that Beijing Rising Technology Co., Ltd. was suspected of framing its competitor Beijing Dongfang Micropoint Information Technology Co., Ltd. and its members through bribery, forgery and other means from June 2005 to February 2008. Chinese mainland media called Chinese mainland "the biggest scandal in the anti-virus software industry". Yu Bing, the former network supervision bureau of Beijing Public Security Bureau, was sentenced to death with a suspended execution, and Tian Yakui, the former deputy general manager of Beijing Oriental Micro Information Technology Co., Ltd., also received state compensation.

At the beginning of 2003, Liu Xu, then president of Rising, resigned after a fierce conflict with Chairman Wang Xin.

In May 2003, Guangming Daily published two articles: one was written by a correspondent after interviewing Liu Xu, entitled "There are major defects in anti-virus software, and China should actively develop active defense technology"; Another article is a signed article published by Liu Xu as a 863 expert, entitled "Active defense against viruses is not a fantasy".
