Xintianran Gas Company is a state-owned enterprise in China, mainly engaged in natural gas exploitation, processing and sales. Yamei Energy is a listed company in Hong Kong. Its main business includes natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) business, oil exploration and production, power generation and renewable energy business. It is reported that in order to promote the reform of state-owned enterprises and the development of related industries, China Municipal Government plans to privatize the new natural gas company and operate it as a subsidiary of Yamei Energy Group. This means that the new natural gas company will become a part of Asian-American Energy Group, and carry out business in natural gas, electricity and other fields together with Asian-American Energy Group.
For the privatization of Asian-American energy by new natural gas, the specific implementation plan and time have not yet been determined, and it is necessary to pay attention to the changes of relevant policies and market dynamics. However, with the acceleration of China government's reform of state-owned enterprises and the development of market economy, similar privatization reform may be popularized and applied in other industries and enterprises.
