Is Huijin a central enterprise?

China Investment Corporation (CIC) is a state-owned investment company headquartered in China. Founded in 2007, the company's main task is to make overseas investments to support the preservation and appreciation of China's foreign exchange reserves and achieve a long-term and stable return on investment.

According to the laws of China, Huijin is a wholly state-owned enterprise, which is under the management of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council. Therefore, Huijin can be regarded as a central enterprise (that is, a central enterprise, a state-owned enterprise supervised and managed by the central government). Huijin, as an investment company, involves many industries and fields, including finance, energy, science and technology, real estate and so on.
