The high-resolution seismic exploration technology in the middle and deep offshore ranks among the top in the world, and the offshore multi-wave seismic exploration equipment has been developed, breaking the international technology monopoly. The developed frame multi-gun coherent combination seismic source, processing technology based on non-stacking or less stacking, beamforming filtering to remove multiples and other technologies have reached the world advanced level. This technology was widely used at sea from 1999 to 2000. 1999 completed 8 contracts with an output value of over 80 million yuan and a net profit of over 60,000 yuan/kloc-0. The obtained data provided more abundant information, really improved the resolution of the middle and deep layers, solved some geological problems, and was recognized by foreign partners, thus improving the success rate of oil and gas exploration.
B imaging logging series instruments have reached the international level in the mid-1990s and belong to the leading technology in China. Digital imaging logging tool mainly includes imaging ground control system, downhole eight-arm dip logging tool, multipole acoustic logging tool, digital gamma logging tool, eight-arm micro-resistance scanning logging tool and high-speed telemetry sub. The performance indexes of the four instruments have reached or exceeded the international level of similar instruments. The whole project can apply for patent technology 18, of which 2 have been approved and 10 is pending. The technical innovations recognized by the acceptance experts are 1 1, mainly including:
Eight-arm hydraulic independent propulsion technology of eight-arm inclination logging tool;
High temperature and high pressure insulation nipple;
Thin film strain gauge caliper and pressure sensor;
High temperature and high pressure monopole, dipole and stoneley wave transducers of multipole acoustic logging tool;
High temperature special hybrid thick film circuit chip;
24-button board technology of resistivity scanning logging tool;
Built-in electric centralizer and eight-arm independent mechanical pusher technology.
Key technology to solve the worldwide problem of high temperature and overpressure drilling. Include high-temperature overpressure drilling and completion fluid, accurate formation pressure prediction and monitoring technology and high-temperature overpressure formation testing technology.
A set of high-temperature and high-density water-in-oil drilling fluid system with independent intellectual property rights-high-temperature overpressure bromine salt clean brine completion fluid system has been developed, and its performance index has reached the international level.
A series of additives for oil-based drilling fluid and solid-free completion fluid were developed, including emulsifier, organobentonite, filtrate reducer and so on. These additives have the characteristics of high temperature resistance, which ensures that the drilling fluid will not deteriorate at high temperature. In order to control the corrosion of completion fluid to metals at high temperature, a corrosion inhibitor for completion fluid was developed. The application of Daqing Pushen 1 well proves that the drilling fluid has good performance.
Pressure prediction and monitoring technology. Using seismic impedance inversion, VSP, SWD and logging data, combined with CD index and rock mechanics parameters during drilling, the software of pre-drilling, prediction while drilling and monitoring while drilling is compiled to guide Yacheng 2 1- 1-4 and Dongfang1-Kloc-0/65438. Among them, Yacheng 2 1- 1-4 well suffered heavy accident losses because Chevron did not listen to the Chinese forecast, and Dongfang1-1drilling was successful. This set of technology is the most complete and successful technology in China at present, and its prediction accuracy and reliability can guide the drilling of high temperature and overpressure wells, which has the value of popularization and application.
The safety monitoring and automatic control system for high temperature well killing test was successfully developed for the first time in China. The system can realize real-time monitoring and automatic control of the whole test process, which provides a guarantee for the safety test.
D. A major breakthrough has been made in offshore extended reach drilling technology. A set of extended reach well software is developed and integrated for the first time in China, which is innovative in three-dimensional trajectory design with arbitrary multi-point constraints, calculation of friction torque, return velocity of bottom hole annulus, water absorption and diffusion of shale and calculation of water stress. Variable diameter stabilizer, polyol water-based drilling fluid system, etc. Six extended reach wells were drilled in Qikou 17-2 and Qinhuangdao 32-6 wells.
E the ninth five-year-plan natural gas key project "study on gas accumulation conditions and exploration direction of large and medium-sized gas fields in yingqiong basin in the northern south China sea" has passed expert appraisal. Important progress has been made in the exploration field and the research of large and medium-sized gas fields;
Confirm that high temperature and overpressure environment can form reservoirs;
There are good sandstone reservoirs and caprocks in the middle and deep layers of Yinggehai.
Fault zone 2 is a fault inheritance development zone, so we should not only pay attention to the trap of fault drape structure of Eogene, but also pay attention to the inversion structure of Eogene and the exploration of sandstone body.
F the national natural science foundation project "active thermal fluid and reservoir-forming dynamics and geological background in the continental margin basin of the south China sea" has made new progress in the study of dynamic background, regional temperature field, pressure field, natural gas generation and migration mechanism in the northern shelf basin of the south China sea.
The above achievements have achieved certain economic and social benefits:
The huge natural gas resources in the middle and deep layers of Yinggehai have been discovered and confirmed, and important geological problems have been solved: natural gas can form reservoirs under high temperature and overpressure, and there are good reservoirs and caprocks in the middle and deep layers of mud arch belt;
The seismic exploration equipment with medium-deep resolution and multi-wave exploration has been successfully developed, which has improved the level of offshore seismic exploration as a whole;
The successful development of imaging logging series will improve the competitiveness of China's logging instruments in the international market and create favorable conditions for the survival and development of CNOOC Logging Company.
Obtained a number of technical patents, and reserved high and new technologies for the transformation and industrialization of achievements. Initially realized economic benefits of several hundred million yuan and cost savings of nearly 80 million yuan;
The prospect of industrial application is broad, and the extended reach drilling technology of high temperature and overpressure wells will be widely popularized and applied in China.
From the analysis of the change of input-output curve of offshore oil exploration and development in China year by year, we can clearly see that the process of increasing reserves and production is a cycle of data accumulation, deepening understanding-workload input, continuous understanding, increasing reserves and production, and leaping development. Some nodes and turning points in this long river of development are the starting points of leap-forward development in different stages.
For example, these turning points can be seen on the curve of exploration input workload and oil and gas reserves (Figure 4- 1).

Today, when we stand at the beginning of the new century and review the century-old history of world oil development and the thrilling oil situation, we can still deeply feel the great influence of oil on world politics, economy, military affairs and human life. Oil is a precious wealth endowed by the earth to mankind, which has played a great role in promoting social civilization and progress. Petroleum industry has become an important industry that affects the security, national prosperity and economic development of all countries in the world, and will continue to play a greater role.
