How long is the validity period of HPV vaccine?
1 bivalent HPV vaccine
Bivalent HPV vaccine can prevent cervical intraepithelial neoplasia caused by HPV 16 and 18, and prevent secondary and above lesions, with a preventive effect of 100%, a preventive effect of about 97% and a protective duration of 1 1 year.
2. Tetravalent HPV vaccine
Four Nordic countries were followed up with tetravalent HPV vaccine 12 years. The follow-up results showed that the tetravalent HPV vaccine had a protective effect within 10 years, and the effective maintenance time could reach more than 90%. That is, after inoculation 10 years, the antibody positive rate in vivo is still above 90%.
3. Nine-valent HPV vaccine
The study of bivalent and tetravalent human papillomavirus vaccines by the Hong Kong Department of Health confirmed that the protection period was at least 9 years. Theoretically, the nine-valent vaccine of human papillomavirus can be valid for about 10 years. The actual longest protection period of these three kinds of human papillomavirus vaccines still needs waiting time and follow-up research to verify.
Compared with bivalent and tetravalent HPV vaccines, the nine-valent HPV vaccine has a shorter time to market. Follow-up of the 9-valent HPV vaccine showed that there was no vaccine-related cervical lesions within 6-7 years after inoculation of the 9-valent HPV vaccine, which meant that the protection time could last for more than 7 years.
