Yunnan Technician College is a provincial-level public technical college sponsored by Yunnan Provincial People's Government and directly managed by Yunnan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security. Established in 196 1. In 2009, the People's Government of Yunnan Province (Fu [2009] No.96) approved the upgrading to Yunnan Technician College, becoming the first technician college in Yunnan.
20 17 Yunnan industry and trade vocational and technical college was approved to be established. In 20 19, the provincial party Committee officially approved the school as Yunnan Technician College (Yunnan Industry and Trade Vocational and Technical College), which officially opened the road to explore the integration and development of Technician College and Higher Vocational College.
