How to apply for a patent?

Patent applications need to submit application documents to the China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office, which can be paper version or electronic version through the client. The document shall at least include the patent claim, the patent claim, the specification and the abstract of the specification, and if there are attached drawings, the attached drawings of the specification and corresponding drawings shall also be submitted. After submission, you need to pay the application fee, and then you will conduct a preliminary review to check whether the file format and content are complete and compliant. After passing the examination, you need to pay the substantive examination fee, and then conduct substantive examination to examine whether the patent is novel, creative and practical. If it passes the examination, the applicant shall be notified to pay the fee and a patent certificate shall be issued.
