What to do if you feel sleepy while driving

Walk half an hour after eating before driving. Because after eating, blood vessels need to transport more oxygen for digestion, the brain will naturally appear to have insufficient oxygen supply and become sleepier, commonly known as "meal drunkenness". Eat more fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins, such as oranges, apricots, Chinese cabbage, apples, etc. Before driving, it is best not to consume large amounts of milk, bananas, lettuce, fatty meats, and alcoholic and hypnotic foods.

1. Try not to use smoking, drinking strong tea, strong coffee, etc. to refresh yourself while driving, especially when driving long distances. Because these methods can only bring temporary excitement, and the short-term excitement is followed by a continuous state of inhibition.

2. Washing your face with cold water moderately can irritate the skin. Look up at the blue sky, white clouds, green trees and grass.

3. Use plenty of light in the vehicle, always open the windows, and listen to music

4. Try to make the car as transparent and bright as possible, and avoid wearing sunglasses when you feel sleepy while driving.

5. Open the car windows appropriately while driving to let in the cool breeze and get some fresh air. Without air circulation, it is more likely to cause fatigue.

6. Placing lemon or mint scented incense in the car will help keep your mind clear in spring. Smell the cooling oil and toilet water, which are helpful to eliminate sleepiness.

7. Choose some uplifting music, or sing along with the main melody of the music to stay awake.
