Siphon drainage is a method to realize drainage by using natural air pressure difference. Its principle is to use the height difference of the water column in the pipeline and the pressure difference of the outside atmosphere to make water flow naturally from high to low, so as to achieve the purpose of drainage.

Installation points of siphon drainage

The installation of siphon drain pipe should pay attention to the following points:

1. The design of the pipeline should meet the requirements of siphon drainage, and the diameter, length and slope of the pipeline should meet the requirements to ensure smooth drainage.

2. The installation position of siphon should be below the drainage equipment, and there should be a certain height difference between siphon and drainage equipment, generally not less than1.5m. ..

3. The diameter of siphon should be selected according to the flow rate of drainage equipment and the length of pipeline, and generally it should be greater than or equal to the outlet diameter of drainage equipment.

4. The installation of siphon pipe should ensure its tightness, so as to avoid air entering the pipeline and affecting the drainage effect.

5. The discharge port of siphon should be set in a well-ventilated place to prevent the discharged sewage from polluting the environment.

Installation steps of siphon drainage

1. Determine the installation position and pipeline direction of siphon, and design and arrange the pipeline.

2. Dig a pit for installing siphon below the drainage equipment. The bottom of the pit should be flat, and a drainage ditch should be set.

3. Install the siphon, first install a siphon valve above the pipeline, then connect one end of the siphon to the valve and the other end to the water outlet of the drainage equipment.

4. Seal the pipeline and seal the joint with sealant or rubber gasket.

5. Test the pipeline, turn on the drainage equipment, observe the water level change in the siphon, and check whether the drainage is smooth.

6. After the installation is completed, maintain the pipeline, clean the pipeline regularly, and check the working state of siphon valve to ensure the normal operation of siphon drainage.
