Tianzu is Adidas A technology developed for athletic shoes that makes the wearer feel as comfortable as if their feet were directly on the ground. Then Adidas signed a contract with it to put this technology into the production of sports shoes. Later, Adi gave up signing the contract with the company because it was dissatisfied with the high price offered by the other company for using Tianzu technology. So Adidas' Tianzu series stopped production.
New Tianzu/Puremotion
The sole adopts PUREMOTION technology that incorporates the concept of "Tianzu", and has 5
support points on the foot based on ergonomic principles. Different rubber materials are used to help adjust the landing angle, avoid sprains, and provide faster starting speed and stronger grip.
PUREMOTION technology is known as the "new Tianzu". The technology promoted by adidas in 2010 incorporates the concept of "Tianzu" and once again rebirths Tianzu technology.
For a long time, in most people's minds, "Tianzu" technology is just an outsole shape designed according to the structure of the human foot. But this view is indeed very one-sided. In fact, "Tianzu" technology should include three aspects, one is the special last, the other is the shape of the outsole, and the third is the distribution of cushioning materials. These three points are indispensable for this technology. Different from the angular edges of ordinary lasts, the shape of Feet You Wear's toe, foot and heel is more rounded and streamlined, making the manufactured shoes fit better. Innovative midsole concept: Feet You Wear midsole can help the foot twist naturally and prevent athletes from foot sprains that may occur due to rapid sideways movement. The three more prominent block-shaped sole structures in the middle of the sole form a triangle, making the athlete's movements more stable. In addition, the improved thin midsole allows the foot to be closer to and feel the ground; however, even though the thickness of the midsole is thinner than that of ordinary sports shoes, adidas has embedded the high-tech shock-absorbing material adiPRENE into the front part of the foot that needs shock-absorbing protection the most. Under the ball of the foot and heel, the overall shock-absorbing effect of Feet You Wear is not compromised at all. The five-piece block structure of the sole is also designed with reference to the foot structure, which can increase the grip of the shoe and is suitable for all sports. Functional upper: Feet You Wear's upper not only increases wearing comfort, It is also designed to be integrated with the midsole; it not only protects the foot completely, but also adds stability during exercise.
Adidas’ foot you wear Tianzu concept was proposed in 1997, but Feet You Wear Tianzu is not a technology developed by itself. From the first pair of basketball shoes using "Tianzu" technology. From the beginning of EQT 2000 to the end of KB8 III, the "Tianzu" technology came to an end after only 8 years of history. The main reason for this is that the "Tianzu" technology was not independently developed by adidas. On the issue, the ownership company could not reach consensus; on the other hand, basketball shoes equipped with "Tianzu" technology had many defects and limitations, which also brought this technology to an end.
After KB8 III, adidas stopped developing new Tianzu styles. The classic Tianzu little head logo of the past is no longer visible on the "Tianzu" shoes that were later reproduced. In 2010, adidas launched its independently developed PUREMOTION technology that incorporates the concept of "Tian Zu". It improved the previous "Tian Zu" by using rubber materials of different densities at the five support points of the foot, and added a herringbone pattern at the five points. The texture increases the grip and reappears the "natural foot" concept, named PUREMOTION.
PUREMOTION is a technological concept that embeds high-tech shock-absorbing material adiPRENE into the support points under the forefoot and rear heel of the foot where shock-absorbing protection is most needed, combined with the midsole Torsion system for stable support and natural torsion. Plus an ergonomic five-point support look.
