RXZGF operating instructions

● The display lights, switches and knobs on the control box are clearly marked. When reading this operating instruction, please refer to the component names on the control box panel.

● There is a seven-core socket on the side of the chassis of the high-voltage tower, which is used to connect the cable of the control box, and a copper terminal on the side of the chassis is used to connect the ground wire.

● The attached high-voltage shielded ammeter is a micro ammeter. The jack at the top of the ammeter is a wire jack for connecting the measured object and can also be used as a power switch. When not in use, please unplug it and turn off the power automatically. Please open the screwdriver on the upper cover when replacing the battery, and then tighten the cover with the screwdriver after replacement. When replacing the battery of the flat watch, please open the back cover.

1. Connect the grounding terminal on the panel of the control box with the grounding terminal of the high-voltage tower, and connect it with the field or laboratory grounding wire. In order to ensure the safety of you and the equipment, please check the grounding wire repeatedly to ensure that all components are well grounded.

Connect the control box and the high-voltage tower with the seven-core cable provided. Both ends of the cable are the same fast aviation plug. Note that when inserting, the notch on the side of the plug should be aligned with the rough part inside the socket and tightened clockwise. (Either end of the cable can be connected to the control box or high-voltage tower) Connect the power cord. The power supply is single AC 220V, and the power frequency is 50HZ.

2. Turn on the power switch. At this time, the power switch light (green) and the panel indicator light are on. Then the high voltage indicator (green) lights up. If the high-pressure buzzer is in the open position, it will beep to remind the operator to add high pressure. At this time, turn the high voltage output adjustment knob clockwise to increase the voltage. The voltmeter shows the voltage KV value on the load sample, and the ammeter shows the sum of the current flowing through the sample and all leakage currents, but does not include the current of the built-in high voltage divider. The current is UA value, and the unit is microampere.

If the power switch is turned on, the high-voltage display light (green) will not light up, and the "zero" light (red) in the fault display will light up, indicating that the high-voltage output adjustment button is not in the zero position. Please turn this button counterclockwise to "zero" and reset the fine-tuning voltage knob to zero. Some "zero" lights go out, and then adjust them clockwise to boost the pressure.

3. If voltage regulation protection within the rated output voltage range is not required, turn the overvoltage protection setting button clockwise to the maximum. At this time, when the output voltage exceeds the rated output voltage, it will automatically protect and cut off the high voltage. If voltage regulation protection is needed within the rated output voltage range, please step up the no-load voltage to the predetermined protection voltage according to the above steps, and then slowly turn the overvoltage protection setting knob counterclockwise to the voltage required for overvoltage protection action. "Overvoltage" indicator is on, keep the setting knob of overvoltage protection in this position, and turn off the power supply. When connecting the sample, the high voltage will be automatically cut off when the boost voltage exceeds the predetermined voltage in the future.

4. When faults such as overvoltage and overcurrent occur, the high voltage is automatically cut off, the high voltage display light (green) goes out, the buzzer stops ringing, and the corresponding fault indicator lights up, indicating that the sample is short-circuited. If you want to restart, turn the high-voltage output adjustment knob back to zero, and the fine-tuning knob is also at zero, then turn off the power switch, turn on the power switch, remove the protection and boost the voltage again.

● Shut down during normal operation. First, reset the high-voltage adjusting knob counterclockwise, then reset the fine-tuning voltage knob to zero, and finally turn off the power switch.

● The power switch is also used to protect the reset switch, so when the fault indicator light (except the zero indicator light) is on, turn off the power switch first, then turn on the power switch, remove the protection and boost the voltage again.

5. When the load is a large capacitive load, please reduce the boosting speed appropriately to avoid over-current protection caused by excessive charging current. After the test, turn the output voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise to zero. At this time, the voltmeter still shows the voltage value on the sample. Please wait for the sample to discharge below 20KV through the high-voltage tower, and then discharge with the grounding rod to ensure safety.

Matters needing attention

1. In order to ensure personal safety, repeatedly remind users to pay attention to the good grounding of the control box and the high-voltage tower, as well as the discharge of the sample and the high-voltage tower after shutdown.

2. Please do not block the upper and lower vent holes of the control box to prevent foreign objects from falling into the holes. If there is a fan in the control box, please always check whether the fan is running normally.

3. The insulation cylinder of the high-voltage tower is dirty, please wipe it with a dry cloth, and don't scrub it with organic solvents such as alcohol and gasoline. The surface of the insulating cylinder can be cleaned with detergent and dried before use. Please put it in an aluminum alloy box when transporting or not in use.

4. When replacing the safety tube, please replace the safety tube according to the amperage calibrated by the safety tube socket.

5. If the high-voltage shielded microammeter shows "low BAT", please replace the 9V battery to avoid measurement error, and turn off the power supply when not in use.

6. Don't open the control box and high-voltage tower without permission, which will affect the product warranty. The factory is not responsible for self-disassembly.

Simple "troubleshooting"

1, when the power switch is turned on, the digital display on the control box is not bright.

Please check the power connection and all fuse tubes. If the fuse tube is damaged, please replace it with a new fuse tube according to the amperage marked next to the fuse holder.

2. If the power switch is turned on, the digital indicator light is on, and the high voltage indicator light (green) is off, so high voltage cannot be added.

(1) The fault display "Return to Zero" light is on.

If it does not return to zero, please turn the high-voltage output adjustment knob and the fine-tuning knob counterclockwise to return to zero until the "return to zero" light goes out, and then the high voltage can be added.

(2) There are two phenomena in the "other" lamp of fault display, 1, grounding protection, and 2, disconnection protection.

A. The grounding wire may not be properly connected, or the grounding wire may not be reliably grounded. Please connect a reliable grounding wire, turn off the power and restart.

B. It may be that the cable connecting the control box and the high-voltage tower is not connected properly. After connecting the cable, please turn off the power and restart it. Or when the welding heads at both ends of the cable are off-welded, please weld the welding heads at both ends of the cable, turn off the power supply and restart.

C. The threaded head in the control box may be soldered and disconnected. Please re-weld, turn off the power and restart.

3, everything is normal, but in the process of not rising to the rated output voltage protection action.

(1) Fault display "Over-current" light is on.

A. the sample is short-circuited, or the leakage current is too large.

B. When the load is a large capacitor, the voltage rises too fast. Turn off the power supply, restart, and reduce the speed of boosting.

(2) the fault display "overvoltage" light.

The setting knob of overvoltage protection is not set to the maximum position. Please turn clockwise to the maximum position, turn off the power and restart.

4. When the sample is short-circuited under high voltage, it is possible that all the fault display lights will be lit up due to the large short-circuit current, which is normal. Please troubleshoot the example and restart.

5. After troubleshooting the test sample, the fault indicator light is still on, and high voltage cannot be added.

The power switch is also a fault protection reset switch. Please turn off the power switch and restart it to increase the voltage.

6. If it is found that the number of voltmeter fluctuates greatly, please check whether the 7-pin shielding net head and the central shielding wire head of the aviation plug connecting the two ends of the cable are off-welded. If so, please weld them well.
