The reclining Buddha Temple is located in the reclining Buddha ditch in Bamiao Township, 25 kilometers north of the county seat. There are large and small caves 139 and statues 1600. The reclining Buddha is a statue of Sakyamuni, with a total length of 23 meters, a head length of 3 meters and a shoulder width of 3. 1 meter. The left side is located on a cliff about 10 meters above the ground. Head east feet west, slender figure, thin clothes fit, serene expression. Behind him, there are carved pictures, more than 20 disciples, bodhisattvas, gods and kings, statues of Lux and so on. Their faces and expressions are different. The Buddha sat with his back to the audience, and gently pressed the middle finger and forefinger of his right hand on the Buddha's left wrist to feel the pulse. From behind it, it conveys a look of concern and expectation. In front of the Buddha's feet stood a naked, muscular lux, raising his right fist and opening his left hand and five fingers as a guard. Its powerful movements are in sharp contrast with the quiet and restrained form of the pulse disciple, and the layout of the chessboard is broken because of the rigidity of the Buddha's composition. This treatment is unique. The word "true source" is engraved on the upper right of the Buddha head. Accordingly, this image was carved in Zhenyuan (785 ~ 805) in the Tang Dynasty. More than 20 kinds of Buddhist scriptures, with more than 400,000 words, were carved by Tang Kaiyuan (7 13 ~ 74 1) and are important cultural relics for studying Buddhist classics and calligraphy art.
Jue Yuan Cave is located on Yunju Mountain 1 km east of the county seat. There were 103 niches (caves) and 1933 statues in the Tang and Song Dynasties. Song dynasty is the most exquisite three saints in western sculpture. The three statues were carved in three niches. Amida Buddha in the middle, avalokitesvara Bodhisattva on the left and Great Trend Bodhisattva on the right. The three statues are full in face, serene in expression, well-proportioned and smooth in knife work, representing the level of stone carving in Song Dynasty. According to the inscription beside the Guanyin statue, these statues were completed in Song Dynasty, (1099) and the first year of Daguan (1 107).
Pilu Cave is located in Tazi Mountain, Shiyang Town, 25 kilometers southeast of the county seat. There are 446 cliff statues. According to the inscription in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty (1573 ~ 1620), the statues here were carved by Tianfu (936 ~ 944) in the Jin Dynasty after the Five Dynasties, and later generations built them one after another, belonging to Sichuan Buddhism in the Five Dynasties and the Northern Song Dynasty.
There is a picture of Liu Benzun's ten exercises in the statue, with many figures and vivid shapes. The statue of Kannonji Guanyin in Pilu Cave is about 3 meters high, wearing a crown, bare chest and abdomen, decorated with garlands, with his right hand sitting on his right knee, leaning slightly to the left, his eyes drooping, and his expression is leisurely and charming, commonly known as romantic Guanyin.
