Why do people always say that domestic cars are not good and that is not good?

Although many independent brands, such as Geely or Great Wall, have developed their own engines, you can still find the shadow of Mitsubishi engine by disassembling the internal structure. Although there is not much difference in noise and vibration between domestic engines and joint venture brand engines, the fuel consumption performance of domestic engines is far from perfect. For example, Geely's 1.8t turbocharged engine, many netizens said that its urban fuel consumption can easily reach about 15l, which is unbearable for the joint venture engine. Generally speaking, for the 2.0t engine, even the relatively high-performance version of the 2.0t engine of BMW 520 can basically maintain the fuel consumption of around 10 liter, which also illustrates the difference between domestic engines and joint venture brand engines.

There is still a big problem with domestic cars, that is, the gearbox. Generally speaking, the gearbox of domestic cars adopts dual-clutch gearbox, because the development difficulty of dual-clutch gearbox is much lower than that of at gearbox. Although there are at gearboxes in China, the shift response speed and shift fluency of domestic AT gearboxes are far less than those of international mainstream AT gearboxes. Moreover, in terms of power connection efficiency, the domestic gearbox is also worse. For example, although Chery's CVT gearbox uses CVT gearbox, I think the CVT gearbox of Arrizo 5 is not particularly well matched. Its fuel consumption can easily reach about 8 liters per 100 kilometers. Among the joint venture brands, the fuel consumption of models equipped with CVT gearbox can basically be maintained at 6 liters.

I think there is still a big gap between the chassis texture of domestic cars and joint venture cars. In many joint venture vehicles, even if sound-absorbing cotton or sound-insulating cotton is not placed, its driving noise performance is still better than that of domestic vehicles with a lot of sound-insulating materials. This feeling is very obvious, especially when passing some rugged roads or some unpaved roads.
