In 2000, as one of the persons in charge, he successfully developed and produced container plates with CSP process, which broke the world blank that traditional metallurgical circles thought that CSP process could not produce container plates, set a world precedent for producing container plates with CSP process, and achieved remarkable economic and social benefits.
As one of the persons in charge, he conducted innovative research on the application of electric furnace thin slab continuous casting and rolling in Zhugang, optimized the batching process, deep deoxidation, deep desulfurization and denitrification process of the world's first 150t vertical furnace finger steelmaking process, and set a world record for the fastest production of similar steel mills in the world.
According to the characteristics of CSP process of electric furnace in Zhujiang Steel and the new design idea of metallurgical composition, the metallurgical composition of ZJ5 10L and ZJ550L hot-rolled low-carbon high-strength automobile plates without microalloying elements was designed, and the flexible production technology of low-carbon high-strength automobile plates under CSP process was realized with low cost and high efficiency.
The microalloying technology of thin slab continuous casting and rolling and its application were studied for the first time. As the person in charge of steelmaking, he developed the process of improving and stabilizing titanium recovery rate in smelting and continuous casting, and developed high-quality, high-strength and high-performance hot-rolled strip products suitable for different strength grades and performance requirements, such as Ti microalloying technology, V microalloying technology and Nb microalloying technology, which were popularized and applied, and achieved remarkable economic and social benefits.
