Combustion pollutant monitoring and control, renewable energy development and utilization. Mainly teaches undergraduate courses "Boiler Principles", "Engineering Combustion", "Professional English", "Thermal Energy and Power Engineering Testing Technology" and postgraduate courses "Combustion Theory and Pollutant Control", "Thermal Energy and Power Engineering Professional English". He has a certain influence in the field of combustion science and pollutant control research. He serves as reviewer for "Chemical Engineering Science", "Fuel", "Energy & Fuels", "Journal of Fuel Chemistry", "Journal of Safety and Environment", and "Chinese Electrical Engineering" Special reviewer of Journal of Internal Combustion Engines and special editorial board member of Journal of Internal Combustion Engines and Environmental Science and Technology. Graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in December 2003 with a doctorate. In February 2004, he entered Shanghai Electric Power University, and then went to the United States for nearly 3 years for research. He returned to China in October 2006, and served as an associate researcher and Hg-SCEM project team during his stay in the United States. Team leader, as project manager responsible for more than 10 projects funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), etc.

Currently, he presides over the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education’s “Returning Overseas Students Fund”, Shanghai Key Science and Technology Research, “Innovation Action Plan”, Dawn Talent Plan, Magnolia Science and Technology Talent Fund, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission Science and Technology He is responsible for more than 10 key innovation projects, and is responsible for more than 10 scientific research projects funded by the National 863 Program (sub-project), Shanghai Major Scientific and Technological Research, Science and Technology Morning Star Tracking, Baosteel Group, etc. as the sub-project leader. Participated in nearly 10 projects including the National 973 Project and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 80 papers, nearly 50 of which have been included in EI, and has more than 10 national invention patents. He has edited 2 textbooks, one of which was selected as a national "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" textbook. The Shanghai Pujiang Talent Plan Project (Category A) undertaken by the project was evaluated as excellent in comprehensive acceptance. He has won the second "Youth Scientific and Technological Innovation Talent Award" of the Shanghai Science and Education Party Committee, the National College Student "Challenge Cup" Shanghai Outstanding Instructor, the third prize of the National Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Competition Instructor, the third prize of Shanghai Technology Invention Award, Shanghai Second Prize for Municipal Teaching Achievements, Silver Medal and Bronze Medal for Outstanding Invention in Shanghai Outstanding Invention Selection Competition, main member of Shanghai’s “Municipal Teaching Team” (ranked second), and guided a student team that won the third prize in the National College Student “Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Competition” More than 20 prizes include the third prize of the National College Student "Challenge Cup" Shanghai, the Shanghai College Student Science and Technology Innovation Fund, the Shanghai "SAIC Education Cup", the third prize of the Shanghai "Science and Technology Innovation Cup" Creation and Invention, and the Tan Kah Kee Youth Invention Award.
