1. Differences in raw materials
Hooker Coffee will select high-quality 100% Arabica beans. Instant coffee uses coffee beans grown in Robusta (because of its low cost). In addition, broken beans, bad beans, and underdeveloped varieties are often directly roasted and ground without screening.
2. Differences in production process
Hang-ear coffee is made from single-origin coffee beans that are freshly roasted and directly ground into powder and bagged without adding anything. The freshly roasted coffee beans are ground into powder through a professional grinding ratio, then placed in a hanging filter bag, and then placed in an aluminum foil outer packaging bag and heat-sealed.
Instant coffee is dry coffee extract obtained by evaporating the water in the coffee extract. The general process is: pretreatment → roasting → grinding → extraction → concentration → drying.
3. The difference in taste
There is absolutely no additives added to the hanging ear coffee. Because the hanging ear coffee is made from freshly roasted 100 Arabica beans, the coffee has a distinct flavor and rich aroma. No need to add anything to achieve a mellow taste.
The process of making instant coffee will lose most of the aromatic substances of the coffee beans themselves in multiple high-temperature operating environments, making the flavor and taste of the finished product less rich and pure than directly roasted and ground coffee beans.
