What kinds of mouse interfaces are there?

At present, there are three common mouse interfaces: serial port, PS/2 and USB.

1, serial port is a serial interface, that is, COM interface. This is the oldest mouse interface, 9-pin or 25-pin D-type interface, which can be used by connecting the mouse to the serial port of the computer host.

2.PS/2 interface is the most common mouse interface at present. It was originally a patent of IBM, commonly known as "small mouth". This is a special interface for mouse and keyboard, which is a 6-pin circular interface.

3.USB is the abbreviation of English universal serial bus, which means "universal serial bus" in Chinese. Common USB interfaces before 20 13 can be divided into USB 1. 1 and USB2.0 according to their versions, and their maximum data transmission rates are 12Mbps and 480Mbps respectively, which are high-speed universal interfaces.

This is a new mouse interface. Before 20 13, many new mouse products adopted USB interface. Compared with the first two interfaces, it has the advantage of very high data transmission rate, which can completely meet the requirements of various mice in refresh rate and resolution, and can make all kinds of middle and high-end mice give full play to their performance and support hot plug. And with the popularization of BTX specification, this will be the only mouse interface in the future.
