Is the water purifier easy to use What impurities can it filter?

1. Why do families need to install household reverse osmosis pure water machine (hereinafter referred to as RO water purifier)?

With the progress of science and technology and the rapid development of industry and agriculture, the degree of water pollution is becoming more and more serious. In 20 14 years, the number of water pollution incidents exposed alone reached an astonishing 1700, and the groundwater purified by nature no longer existed. However, the current technical level of waterworks is unable to cope with these sudden serious pollution. In addition, the tap water pipe network has been in disrepair for a long time, and the secondary water supply of urban high-rise water tanks leads to secondary pollution of tap water, which we can drink directly. Directly use RO water purifier to purify tap water for the second time at home, catch all these harmful substances, ensure the safety of drinking water, and let family members drink clean water with peace of mind.

Second, the development status of the water purifier market

Water purifiers have been popularized in developed countries. The sales of household water purifiers in the United States and developed countries in the world reach more than 3 billion US dollars every year, and the penetration rate of household water purifiers reaches more than 70%. Installing a water purifier has become a requirement of the American Water Quality Association for real estate developers and every family, and the utilization rate in some European countries has reached more than 90%.

In China, however, the penetration rate of household water purifiers is less than 5%. It is estimated that by 20 15, the penetration rate of household water purifiers in the national market will reach 20% ~ 30%, with an average annual growth rate of only 20%. According to the market economy research institute of the State Council Development Research Center, the market demand will reach more than15 million units in the next five years, and the market capacity will reach 500 billion. The broad market prospect will breed attractive cakes.

In the big family of household water purifiers, RO water purifiers are the first in terms of output, sales volume and export volume. According to statistics, the sales volume accounts for about 38% of the whole water purifier, and it is a veritable boss in the big family of water purifiers.

Third, does the RO water purifier have "wastewater"?

With the development of water purification market, the notoriety of RO water purifier wasting water has also spread. But does RO water purifier really have "wastewater"? It should be called "concentrated water" to be precise.

Tap water is pretreated and filtered by RO water purifier, such as PP cotton, granular activated carbon, compressed activated carbon, etc., to remove rust, solid impurities, residual chlorine, colloid, odor and some organic pollutants. Then, by applying a certain pressure to water, water molecules and ionic mineral elements are made into "pure water" through a reverse osmosis membrane, and then absorbed and filtered by post-granular activated carbon to improve the taste, thus preparing "direct drinking water" for drinking.

However, all substances with particles larger than 0.000 1 micron cannot pass through the reverse osmosis membrane and are isolated on the membrane surface. If these substances remain there and are not discharged, there will be more and more water holes on the reverse osmosis membrane, and less and less water will be produced, and the reverse osmosis membrane will be blocked soon. Therefore, it is necessary to discharge concentrated water and take these substances out of the surface of the reverse osmosis membrane to make the service life of the membrane longer.

Because the concentrated water has been treated by the first three filter elements, except the salt content is higher than that of tap water, most other indicators, such as turbidity, chromaticity, residual chlorine, odor, organic matter, suspended solids, colloid, COD (chemical oxygen consumption), TOC (total organic carbon), SDI (pollution index) and so on, are better than tap water! In daily life, we just need a lot of water to wash dishes, wipe tables, wash clothes, mop the floor, flush toilets and so on. We can use concentrated water in these places.

So it is completely wrong to call RO concentrated water "wastewater"!

Some merchants are afraid that consumers will know that the concentrated water of RO water purifier will affect sales, so they don't mention concentrated water in the sales process. Some merchants trick consumers into saying that "concentrated water is wastewater" and try to save trouble when installing RO water purifier. It is completely wrong to plug the concentrated water pipe into the sewer and discharge a lot of concentrated water in vain! This behavior should be condemned!

4. Is there really so much "wastewater" in 4.RO water purifier?

The main purpose of RO water purifier is to provide drinking water for families. Generally, a family of four drinks about 3.2 gallons of water a day (including cooking and soup), which is about 12 liter. It takes about 36 liters of wastewater to make 12 liter of pure water, and 1080 liter of wastewater needs to be discharged in one month. According to the current comprehensive price of tap water in 2.5 yuan (including resources and sewage charges), only 2.7 yuan is needed for the wastewater discharged in one month. I believe that this tiny 2.7 yuan will not cause any financial burden to any family.

5. Is it possible that 5.RO water purifier has no "concentrated water"?

RO diaphragm is an elastic membrane. As long as you save water, it means that you need to make the current limit smaller, which is almost impossible for RO diaphragm. The principle of reverse osmosis membrane elements and the technical parameters of membrane holes have been clearly explained in the technical manual of membrane elements.

The pore size of the membrane is only 0.000 1 micron, and it is made into precise elastic formula membrane liquid by precision equipment. The scientific research achievements it has developed can not overthrow the theoretical basis of scientific research accumulated by many scientists for decades with our views and knowledge alone. Especially in the complicated water system in China, it is a great test to change the requirements of RO membrane elements and aperture standards.

I have also consulted several authoritative RO membrane experts and some well-known RO membrane manufacturers about whether RO membrane can realize the technology of non-concentrated water discharge. Unfortunately, no one answered me that the current RO membrane technology can achieve no concentrated water discharge.

There are some questions here. Which company or expert has been proved by experiments? How long is the demonstration? How many kinds of water quality have you done? How many users participated in the experiment? What is the standard of the experiment? So far, the companies and experts I have asked have not come up with the corresponding data.

So I think it is the right direction to start with changing living habits, such as guiding everyone to learn to save energy and reuse concentrated water without causing waste. This is the best way to discharge waste water.

6. What are "slightly concentrated water" and "no concentrated water" ro water purifiers?

At present, the technologies of weak concentrated water are mainly "directly reducing the proportion of wastewater and controlling the discharge of concentrated water" and "washing regularly without producing concentrated water at ordinary times", while the technologies without producing concentrated water are nothing more than "injecting concentrated water into the tap water pipe for reuse" and "producing pure water with concentrated water without producing water at ordinary times". Some people put forward various solutions for concentrated water, and also invented and declared one so-called "water saving patent" after another.

1, control the proportion of wastewater.

The technology of this scheme is to reduce the discharge of concentrated water by adjusting the proportion mixer of wastewater, which can reach the ratio of 1: 2 or even 1: 2, but such companies still treat RO concentrated water as "wastewater".

Analysis: The water production ratio of RO water purifier can be controlled, but with the decrease of concentrated water, it will increase the burden of RO membrane and pump, shorten the service life of RO membrane and pump, and affect the quality of RO effluent.

2. "Conventional flushing type"

The production process of this scheme is: no concentrated water is produced in the process of making pure water, so as to achieve the purpose of saving water. After the machine comes out of water for a certain period of time, open the flushing solenoid valve for flushing. Direct drinking water is no longer produced during toilet flushing, and all water sources are used for toilet flushing. Of course, this water is also discharged as "waste water".

Analysis: RO water purifier continuously cleans the RO membrane during the cleaning process, which plays a certain role in protecting the RO membrane. However, because concentrated water is not discharged when making water, it will inevitably increase the burden of RO membrane and pump, shorten the service life of RO membrane and pump, and it is difficult to ensure the normal effluent quality of RO.

3. Concentrated water is injected into the circulating water pipe.

The technology of this scheme is that the concentrated water discharged by RO water purifier returns to the water inlet pipe and is injected into the tap water pipe for recycling. If the household faucet is turned on when using RO water purifier, the concentrated water can be mixed with tap water as domestic water; If the RO water purifier does not use the household faucet when making water, the concentrated water will enter the RO water purifier again to make water circularly; Strong water can't be discharged, and it is getting stronger and stronger;

Analysis: The probability that RO water purifier is also using domestic faucets is extremely low, so it is difficult to save water. RO water purifiers are mostly in the state of circulating water production, and RO concentrated water is repeatedly concentrated, and the TDS value of water in RO membrane quickly exceeds the allowable range of RO membrane, which will lead to the serious over-standard TDS value of water produced by RO water purifier, and the RO membrane will be blocked quickly and its service life will be extremely short.

4. Make direct drinking water when using concentrated water.

The technology of this scheme is that the concentrated water of RO water purifier returns to the water inlet pipe and is injected into the tap water pipe to be mixed with tap water. Different from the former scheme, the RO water purifier is equipped with electrical program control, and only when the household faucet is turned on will the RO water purifier start to work to make water. When the household faucet is turned off, the RO water purifier stops working.

Analysis: Because the domestic faucet discharges the mixed water of concentrated water and tap water, RO water purifier will produce more discharged water when working to make water than conventional RO water purifier when discharging concentrated water.

There are some fatal problems in the above four solutions, which also proves that the so-called "weak water" and "weak water" are not desirable! Just being hyped by some people! The history of using RO water purifier in Europe and America is much earlier than ours, and it also pays great attention to energy saving and environmental protection, but this kind of machine has never been introduced. Is it because they don't pay attention to water saving or the technical level is too backward? Of course not, it's just "this road is blocked"!

Seven, how to use concentrated water?

Now everyone should agree that concentrated water can be used as domestic water, so the question is "how to make rational use of concentrated water?"

1, traditional indigenous methods

Many families simply put centralized water pipes in one place and then use buckets as domestic water. Although it is very practical, the disadvantage is obvious, that is, someone has to watch it all the time, otherwise it may spill on the ground.

2. When using concentrated water, make direct drinking water.

First, install the electrical program control on the RO water purifier, and then install the double taps on the basin, one for direct drinking water and the other for concentrated water. Turn on the concentrated faucet, and the RO water purifier starts to work to make water. When the concentrated faucet is turned off, the RO water purifier stops working. You can put a bucket in the sink to receive concentrated water for domestic use. Even if the water overflows, it will flow into the sewer of the sink and will not overflow to the ground.

3. When using concentrated water, make direct drinking water and double-press barrels.

Basically, it is the same as the above method. First, install the electrical program control on the RO water purifier, and then install double faucets on the basin, one for direct drinking water and the other for concentrated water. The difference is that there is a pressure barrel connected with concentrated water under the cabinet for temporary storage of concentrated water. When the concentrated faucet is turned on, the RO water purifier will start to make water, and when the concentrated faucet is turned off, the RO water purifier will also make water normally until the concentrated water pressure barrel is mixed with purified water.

4. Centralized collection and utilization

Connect the concentrated water pipe to the washing machine, toilet, bathtub and other containers that use a lot of water. These electrical appliances usually use the most water in households, and the containers for water are relatively large, and when the water exceeds the safety line, it will be discharged through the anti-overflow device and will not overflow to the ground.
