Recently, researchers from the Fracturing Institute of Shengli Oilfield have successfully implemented temporary plugging volume fracturing technology in Dabei 1- Xie3 Well, which is the first time that Shengli Oilfield has tested this technology, which not only keeps its own fracturing level in the advanced ranks in China, but also provides strong technical support for the rolling development of beach bar sand reservoirs.

Well Dabei 1- Xie3 is a production evaluation well in block Da 37-52. This block is deposited with multiple thin layers of beach bar sand. The buried depth of the reservoir is more than 3, meters, and the maximum longitudinal span is more than 1 meters. It is very difficult to balance the transformation of multiple thin layers. After receiving the design task, the researchers carefully analyzed the reservoir characteristics, and decided to implement temporary plugging volume fracturing technology to carry out layered fracturing reconstruction through in-situ stress calculation and permeability analysis, so as to improve the reconstruction effect of multi-thin reservoirs.

the new fracturing technology can deliver high-strength water-soluble temporary plugging agent into the interval once or several times to form a filter cake to temporarily plug the previous fracture, forcing one or more new fractures to open in the interval, thus obtaining a single well productivity greater than that of conventional fracturing, and realizing natural selection of filling points and multi-stage reconstruction by reasonably selecting the dosage of temporary plugging agent. It is understood that the final cumulative production of this new fracturing technology can be increased by 3%-4% compared with conventional staged fracturing, which can greatly improve the economic development benefits.

in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the scheme, the scientific researchers comprehensively applied the measures such as matching the construction scale with the diversion capacity, optimizing the displacement, preparing the ground pipelines for docking in advance, and communicated with Hekou Oil Production Plant and underground fracturing brigade for many times, and repeatedly revised the optimized design to ensure the pertinence and effectiveness of the design. During the implementation, the field fracturing pressure was 58 MPa, 42 cubic meters of well fluid was pumped in, and 4 cubic meters of proppant was added in total, which met the design requirements.
