Step 1: If you want to apply for a patent personally, we have to have an electronic account, search the webpage in China National Intellectual Property Administration, find the webpage with official logo, find the label of' China Patent Electronic Application Network' after entering, click in and log in in the account registration column. If you don't have an account, you need to register an electronic account (generally speaking, an agency needs its own port application, and an individual application must need an electronic account), and fill in the corresponding information according to the prompts. After filling in the application form correctly, you will be given a Notice of Registration and Approval of Patent Electronic Users. After returning, log in according to your account number and your password, and you can log in successfully and complete the first step.
Step 2: In addition to the electronic account, we also need to prepare the CPC client plug-in. At this time, we will go back to the webpage of China Patent Electronic Application Network, find the tools to download, click in, find the offline upgrade package of PCP client and download it.
Then install the offline upgrade package of PCP client, click the instruction manual after downloading, and complete the installation of the offline upgrade package of PCP client according to the steps of the instruction manual.
Step 3: After the CPC client is successfully installed, the most critical application steps can be carried out. Personal application needs to prepare patent documents, and there is no need to find someone to write this format template. Five more books are needed. The five books we use are like this.
Its function is to convert patent documents into five books, including five modules: abstract, abstract diagram, patent claim, specification and specification diagram. Most ghostwriters will have this, which can be converted and sent to you.
Step 4: After all the above preparations are completed, put the five books that need to apply for patents on the computer desktop, open the CPC software, and the words "utility model and invention patent application" will appear in the upper left corner. Click on the required patent application type, select files from the five books on the desktop, add five files from the five books, namely abstract, appended drawings, patent claims, instructions and appended drawings, and then fill in the patent request in CPC as required.
Step 5: After receiving your patent application, if it meets the requirements, the Property Bureau will send you an acceptance notice (usually it will be sent to the mailbox in about a week or even two days). After receiving the admission notice, you need to pay the application fee. The state subsidizes our individual applications, that is, waives fees. If there is no fee reduction, we need to pay more than 1000 yuan, but after the application fee is reduced, 75 will be fine, for sure.
Before paying the application fee, open China National Intellectual Property Administration official website, find the patent agent, click, log in with the applied electronic account, fill in the information according to business handling-fee reduction filing-fee reduction filing-business handling, and request fee reduction, and you need to provide proof of enterprise income. Generally speaking, individuals applying for fee waiver need proof of enterprise income with annual income below 60,000, that is, monthly income below 5,000, and cannot provide fee waiver. After the application, check whether the application for fee reduction is passed according to the fee reduction situation. If it passes, you can pay the fee.
When paying the fee, first log in to the foreign service-online payment with the national application number through China Patent Electronic Application Network, and then fill in the form to pay the fee as required.
Step 6: Wait for authorization. After the payment is successful, you can wait for the patent office to review the patent documents. You can put forward your review comments, which will be answered by the author. After replying, just submit it through your personal electronic account. If it is rejected, it will send you a rejection notice, that is, the patent is not authorized. If it is authorized, you will receive a certificate issued by the Patent Office.
