EPS is polystyrene foam. This material is made of polystyrene resin. During the production process, a foaming agent is used as an auxiliary reagent, and then heated at high temperature to form a plastic foam. This foam has a unique hard closed-cell structure. . For substances like EPS, the scope of application is not very wide. It is mainly used in the fields of packaging and construction. However, this material is relatively unfavorable for the environment. It is not suitable for biodegradation, so its chemical structure is relatively stable and durable.
Performance and application of EPS board
EPS board (expandable polystyrene board) has the characteristics of light weight, low price, low thermal conductivity, low water absorption and good electrical insulation properties. , sound insulation, shockproof, moisture-proof, simple molding process and other advantages, it is widely used as thermal insulation, sound insulation and earthquake-resistant materials in buildings, ships, automobiles, trains, refrigeration, freezing and other areas.
Precautions for use
(1) When constructing RD-221 bonding mortar on site, it is strictly prohibited to add any other materials or items to ensure stable product quality.
(2) The RD-221 bonding mortar and RD-221 plastering mortar after adding water and stirring should be used up within 2 hours, and must not be used again the next day or after drying to avoid affecting the Quality effect.
(3) The construction and acceptance of exterior walls and exterior doors and windows are completed, and the base surface meets the requirements of the "Construction Engineering Quality Inspection and Assessment Standards" (GBJ301-88). The uneven surface should be leveled with mortar before construction
(4) The ambient temperature and base temperature of the operating location shall not be lower than 5℃; the wind force shall not be greater than Level 5, and construction shall not be allowed on rainy days.
