Japan is the inventor of disposable chopsticks, but it is one of the countries with the highest forest coverage in the world. Despite this, Japan has not cut down its own trees. The raw materials of their disposable chopsticks come from China. China now produces about 45 billion pairs of disposable chopsticks every year and exports them to 38 countries and regions such as Japan, China, Taiwan Province Province and the United States. The total export volume is 1860939 boxes, and 25 million trees need to be cut down. At the current rate, China may cut down all the forests in 20 years. This is asking people whether we should say "no" to disposable chopsticks.
The Japanese invented disposable chopsticks, but not all Japanese eat with disposable chopsticks. Japanese economic consciousness permeates all aspects of life. I remember reading a report that a domestic merchant received a group of Japanese guests and found that several Japanese friends took a small rectangular box with them and took out chopsticks for dinner, which was really economical to the extreme.
