How to understand the patent application of the day

Patent application on the same day refers to two or more patent applications filed with the China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office on the same day for the same invention and creation, which can be divided into patent applications filed by different applicants on the same day and patent applications filed by the same applicant on the same day. If different applicants file patent applications for the same invention-creation on the same day, the China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office will inform them to determine the patent applicants through consultation. They can negotiate that one of them is a patent applicant or they can negotiate to apply for a patent together. If negotiation fails, the patent rights applied for by them shall not be granted. For the patent application of the same applicant on the same day, the China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office will inform the patent applicant to choose one, while the China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office will only review the patent application it chooses, and those who pass the examination will be granted the patent right.
