Professor Wang Jiren is a famous expert in coal mine fire prevention and extinguishing in China. Has been engaged in mining engineering and safety science and engineering teaching and research work. The main research direction is the prevention and control of coal spontaneous combustion fire and mine gas disaster. Lead the team to work in the laboratory for a long time, running around the scene, focusing on the theory and technology of coal mine spontaneous combustion fire prevention and control. According to the characteristics of coal oxidation and spontaneous combustion, the mechanism of coal spontaneous combustion is systematically studied by using quantum mechanics and quantum chemistry theory, and the theory of coal spontaneous combustion based on quantum chemistry is established, and a set of fire prevention and extinguishing technical systems such as determination of the difficulty of coal spontaneous combustion, prediction of spontaneous combustion fire, coal resistance modification, oxygen isolation and inerting of goaf are established. The main research results have reached the international leading level. As an expert of the State Council safety production expert group, he undertook consulting work in 45 high-gas mining areas in China twice and participated in the investigation of serious accidents organized by the state five times.
For more than 20 years, in the research direction focusing on the prevention and control of coal spontaneous combustion fire, he has presided over and completed two key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, two general projects, "The Seventh Five-Year Plan 14 National Key Scientific and Technological Project (Support)" and two high-tech achievements promotion projects of the National Development and Reform Commission. As well as "Key to Prevention and Control of Coal Spontaneous Combustion Fire under Complicated Mining Conditions in Datong Mining Area", "Research and Application of Coal Spontaneous Combustion Theory and Its Prevention and Control Technology under Complicated Mining Conditions in Datong Mining Area" and "Key Technologies for Prevention and Control of Coal Fire under Complicated Mining Conditions" won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2008 and 20 12 respectively, and related achievements won four first prizes and two second prizes 10 at the provincial and ministerial levels. Published 2 monographs on Quantum Chemical Theory of Coal Spontaneous Combustion and Mechanism of Preventing Coal Spontaneous Combustion, edited 7 books on Modern Coal Mine Production Technology, authorized 4 invention patents, published 108 academic papers, and searched 47 EI and papers. Mining engineering discipline is a characteristic and advantageous discipline of Liaoning Technical University. As the leader of this discipline, Professor Wang Jiren has worked in the front line of teaching and scientific research for a long time, presided over the formulation of undergraduate and postgraduate training plans for mining and safety majors, and taught more than ten specialized courses and specialized basic courses. He is the national key (cultivation) discipline of safety science and engineering in Liaoning University of Engineering Technology and the leader of the key discipline of mining engineering in Liaoning Province. It has trained 1 13 doctoral and master students, most of whom have become the backbone of science and technology and senior engineering and technical management talents in the coal industry, and formed a stable scientific research and teaching team, which has made outstanding contributions to China's coal science and technology progress and the training of senior professionals. Professor Wang Jiren used to be the director of the Key Laboratory of Coal Industry Safety, a member of the Advisory Committee of the International Symposium on Earth Science and Technology of Kyushu University, Japan, and the vice chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Third International Symposium on Modern Mining and Safety Technology. He is currently the vice chairman of the fire prevention and extinguishing professional Committee of China Coal Industry and Science and Technology Commission, the vice chairman of China Energy Society, and the vice chairman of the National College Safety Engineering Teaching Steering Committee. 200 1 was granted special allowance by the state Council, and 200 10 was recognized as the first batch of top ten scientific and technological leaders in Liaoning province, and 200 1 1 was recognized as a scientific and technological innovator in China coal industry and a climbing scholar in Liaoning province. In 2006, he was awarded the National Outstanding Contribution Award for Expert Consultation on Coal Mine Safety Technology by the State Administration of Work Safety, and in 20 12, he was awarded the National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker.
1982 graduated from Fuxin Mining Institute (now Liaoning University of Engineering Technology) with a major in mining engineering, and received a doctorate in engineering in May 2000. For many years, he has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the direction of mine gas disaster control and utilization, guiding 9 doctoral students and more than 30 master students. Participated in or presided over more than 40 scientific research projects, such as the National Eighth Five-Year Plan key project "Safe Emission Control Technology of Gas Accumulation in Roadways" and the National Ninth Five-Year Plan key scientific and technological project "Research on Drilling, Reaming and Pre-drainage Technology and Equipment of Coal Seam Gas", and won 7 awards, and conducted safety evaluation on more than 30 mines in 6 mining areas across the country. Among them, the National Sixth Five-Year Scientific and Technological Key Project "Slicing Mining without Pillars in Extra-thick Coal Seam with High Biogas" won the second prize of 1987 for scientific and technological progress of the Ministry of Coal; The national "Seventh Five-Year Plan" key project "Study on Low Concentration Gas Drainage Technology in Borehole Mining and Gas Drainage in Adjacent Layers" won the second prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Coal respectively; 1999 two projects, namely, the study of rock stress state, the regional prediction of mine dynamic phenomena, and the application research of mine ventilation safety and spontaneous combustion prevention decision support system, won the second prize of national coal industry scientific and technological progress. He presided over the teaching project "Construction, Development and Utilization of Mine Ventilation Experimental Roadway System" and won the second prize of teaching achievement in Liaoning Province 1997. Research on Mine Ventilation Simulation System and Its Application Technology won the first prize in state administration of work safety in 2002. The research and application project of coal spontaneous combustion theory and its prevention technology won the second prize of national scientific and technological progress in 2008.
