After the patent license is granted, it shall be filed with the State Council in a timely manner according to law. The patent licensing contract for filing shall be concluded in written form, and the parties concerned shall go through the filing formalities within 3 months from the date when the patent licensing contract takes effect. The parties concerned may go through the relevant formalities for filing the patent licensing contract by mail, direct delivery or other means stipulated by China National Intellectual Property Administration.
