Mei Tao, male, executive deputy director, researcher and doctor of Hefei Institute of Intelligent Machinery, Chinese Academy of Sciences, doctoral supervisor of China University of Science and Technology, and vice chairman of Youth Federation of China Academy of Sciences. 1962 was born in nancheng county, Jiangxi province. 1982 received a bachelor's degree in precision machinery from Zhejiang university, and 200/kloc-0 received a doctorate in mechanics from China university of science and technology. 1982 has been engaged in research work in Hefei Institute of Intelligent Machinery, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has served as research intern, assistant researcher, associate researcher and researcher, and deputy director and director of the sensing technology research office. 1June, 1999 to present, he has served as executive deputy director. He has been a member of the special robot professional group in the field of automation in the National "863" Plan and a member of the space robot special group in the field of aerospace in the National "863" Plan. At present, he is a director of China Automation Society, a standing member of Robotics Committee of China Automation Society, a senior member of China Electronics Society, a member of Sensitive Technology Branch of China Electronics Society, a director of Precision Machinery Branch of China Instrumentation Society, the editor-in-chief of International Information Collection Magazine, and the editorial boards of Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence and Robots. Obtained the special allowance of the State Council, the special allowance of the Anhui Provincial Government and the support of the Science and Technology Fund for Outstanding Youth in Anhui Province. 1986 to 1987, visiting scholar at the center of robotics and automation, Department of Electronic Engineering, University of middlesex, UK, engaged in the research of robot sensors and robot flexible manufacturing systems. 1996 Senior Visiting Scholar, Institute of Robotics, Computer Department, Carnegie Mellon University, USA, engaged in the research of robot multi-sensor gripper and human-computer interaction technology. 1998- 1999 went to the department of machinery and automation of the Chinese University of Hong Kong to engage in cooperative research on MEMS and smart materials systems, and assisted the school in establishing advanced microsystem laboratories and smart materials laboratories. His research fields are information acquisition science and technology, special robots and MEMS. Responsible for completing several national "863" plan projects, national key scientific and technological research projects and national natural science foundation projects, including multifunctional skin sensor, space robot multi-sensor gripper, new resonant force sensor, intelligent gas sensor, active tactile information acquisition and interpretation, hybrid integrated force sensor, semiconductor force sensor and micromachining. Using MEMS, CMOS integrated circuit and information fusion technology, an integrated tactile sensor with contact, force, sliding and distributed pressure sensing was successfully developed and patented. The intelligent gripper with multi-dimensional force sense, proximity sense, distance sense, touch sense and other sensing functions has been successfully developed, which has contributed to the establishment of China space robot experimental system. He published 89 papers and obtained 6 patents.
