Major achievements
Since 1982, Li Xiaohong has been devoted to the research of water jet technology and its application in coal mine safety engineering for a long time, and is one of the academic leaders in the field of mining engineering in China. In view of the serious gas disaster in complex coal mines in China, he put forward the academic idea of combining disaster prevention with the development and utilization of coalbed methane, and invented a gas-solid-liquid multiphase oscillating jet that can produce pulse stress waves and sound shock waves. Innovative research and development of multiphase oscillating jet in coal seam grid layer to enhance permeability and enhance gas desorption technology, independent research and development of advanced coal mine gas disaster control equipment, which has been popularized and applied in nearly 50 coal mines such as Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Shanxi, Henan and Anhui. It has made important contributions to the safety production of coal mines in China. This achievement has been listed as a major national transformation project of scientific and technological achievements by the Ministry of Finance, which has played a leading and exemplary role in the whole country.
