Turfgrass seed
Excellent seeds for lawn construction and turf production.
Common seed
Refers to the common grass species that have not been cultivated or improved (such as Zoysia species in China) are all common grass species. Because of its different germplasm or ecotype, its quality is unbalanced and unstable.
Variety: refers to cultivated or cultivated varieties.
PROTARILYVARIETY: A variety that only the owner of the variety can distribute.
Common varieties (or commodity varieties)
CERTIFICATIONSYSTEM: It is a kind of certification system put forward by countries all over the world to promote multilateral trade of seeds and increase agricultural output shortly after World War II. Among them, different countries have different certification systems.
OECD system: It is the seed registration and certification system of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Lawn grass seeds should be implemented according to this plan. European countries are only allowed to sell seeds certified by the system. Australia and New Zealand also adopt this system.
AOSA: North American Association of Official Seed Analysts. It was founded by the United States and Canada in 1908.
ESTA: European Seed Inspection Association. 1927 was founded in France.
ISTA certificate: It is a certificate issued according to the requirements of the International Seed Trade Union, which is divided into three types: orange, green and blue. Among them, the green certificate is the certificate that the sample is inspected by another country.
international union for the protection of new varieties of plants
FIS: International Seed Trade Alliance
DUS test: It is the technical standard of variety specificity, universality and improvement. Variety registration, if DUS is not obvious, can not be registered as a variety, indicating that there are different characteristics and differences between varieties.
TZ density measurement method: it is one of the methods used by ISTA laboratory to measure the germination rate of seeds according to ISTA's experimental plan, and it is also called tetrazole measurement method (English: TETRO, ZOLIUM, TESTING).
Indicators for measuring the purity of turfgrass seeds: ZSTA should measure four indicators (purity, no domestic impurities, weed content and different crops) when measuring the purity of seeds.
Brief introduction of lawn
Lawn is a "popular plant landscape" in recent years, commonly known as turf in European and American countries, and the lawn of exquisite people. Japan is called Zhili and Tsao Zhi.
Lawn coverage area is regarded as one of the important symbols for modern countries to measure modern urban construction. 1969, the international conference on turfgrass research was established. At present, the global lawn cultivation technology is represented by golf course lawn.
