This scheme is designed according to the boiler water requirement of Limited Company. Considering the poor water quality and high turbidity of raw water, which is 50~80mg/l, the main process of this system adopts quartz sand filtration and softening.

Raw water quality: river water (hardness1.5 mmol/l; Turbidity 50 ~ 80 mg/L)

Production water: make-up water for low-pressure boilers.

The water hardness of this system is ≤0.03mmol/L (meeting the water inlet requirements of low-pressure boilers stipulated by the state).

2.2 system description

2.2. 1 mechanical filter

Mechanical filter, also known as pressure filter, is an important part of pretreatment and water purification system in soft water preparation. According to different filter media, it can be divided into quartz sand filter, multi-media filter, activated carbon filter, manganese sand filter and fiber ball filter.

The system adopts multi-media filter as pretreatment equipment of water treatment system, aiming at removing mud, sand, suspended matter, particles and colloid in water, reducing turbidity and SDI value of influent, and meeting the influent requirements of subsequent equipment; The equipment can recover its pollution interception ability through regular cleaning. The multi-media filter materials in the filter are high-quality homogeneous quartz sand and anthracite, which are scientifically and orderly distributed in the filter pool according to the specific gravity and particle size. For example, anthracite with small specific gravity and slightly larger particle size is placed at the top of the filter bed, quartz sand with moderate specific gravity and small particle size is placed at the middle of the filter bed, and gravel with large specific gravity and large particle size is placed at the bottom of the filter bed. This ratio ensures that the filter will not produce layer disorder during backwashing, thus ensuring the interception ability of the filter material.

At the same time, the filter bed gradually intercepts impurities in the water, so that all layers of filter materials in the pool can be fully and evenly utilized, and the filter layers are effectively increased, thus prolonging the service life of the filter materials and reducing the operating cost of the equipment. The filter performs backwashing and forward washing operations according to the water quality of the influent. Through backwashing, the impurities trapped in the gap between filter materials are washed away, and then positive flushing is carried out to stabilize the filter material layer and restore its filtration efficiency.

2.2.3 Fully automatic sodium ion exchanger

Softening and regeneration principle

Sodium ion exchanger is equipped with 00 1×7FC floating bed strong acid cation resin, which is used as softened water exchanger. When raw water enters the exchange layer from bottom to top, sodium ions on the exchange layer replace calcium and magnesium ions in the raw water to soften the water;

After water is exchanged by sodium ions, calcium and magnesium ions in water are replaced by sodium ions, so the hardness in water is removed, while the alkalinity remains unchanged.

After sodium ion exchange resin failed, in order to restore its exchange capacity, industrial salt solution was used for regeneration. Regeneration means that a certain concentration of brine passes through the exchanger layer from top to bottom, and the sodium ions in the brine reversely displace the calcium and magnesium ions on the exchanger, and the calcium and magnesium ions and their compounds are washed out of the exchanger with softened water, so as to regenerate the exchanger and restore its exchange capacity. ★ Description of equipment structure:
