I have the original version by Bruno Walter in 1952. As a student of Mahler, Walter premiered this great work in 1911. His interpretation should be closest to Mahler himself, and Catherine Ferrier's performance has been hailed as a swan song in the world.

Otto Klemperer's version is of course also first-rate, with better sound effects than Bruno Walter's version.
