How to control the seawater polluted by oil

In case of offshore oil spill, it is generally divided into three steps:

The first step is to lay oil booms to prevent the polluted area from expanding further. After sealing the polluted sea area;

The second step is to send out a cleaning boat to clean up the oil pollution with an oil absorber and an oil-absorbing felt, which is equivalent to pumping out the oil, but it is definitely not clean, so we can only say that we should minimize the losses.

Adopt mechanical recycling, which is a method with the least environmental pollution. The working process of mechanical recovery is to set up an oil boom in the oil spill area, then put an "oil skimmer" on the water surface, that is, an oil-water separator, and use different physical mechanisms to separate oil from water, then pump it to the oil storage tank with a water pump and transport it to the shore for oil-water separation. After the separated water reaches the environmental protection standard, it is discharged into the sea and the oil is recovered.

Oil pollution floating on the sea surface is generally easy to clean, but the oil pollution in the lower layer of sea water will form milky oil pollution that is difficult to clean under the impact of waves, which requires the third step;

Third, use special demulsifier to make the oil-water layer, and then clean it, that is, use some dispersants to completely decompose the pollutants.
