Universities of Applied Sciences, Jiangxi Province is a full-time application-oriented undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and China, with the qualification of independently issuing national higher education diplomas, and approved by the Academic Degrees Committee Office of Jiangxi Provincial People's Government as a bachelor's degree awarding unit.
The school was established in 1984. In 2005, it was renamed Jiangxi City Vocational College, and was upgraded to Jiangxi Institute of Applied Science and Technology in May 20 14.
