One of the three major technology brands: Dongfeng Quantum Intelligent Electrical Architecture.
This is a digital mechatronics architecture, which is a bit like the car-making platform mentioned before, but it is not limited to the car itself, but also includes the service level and the ecological level, which are four in one. Of course, the word quantum used here is actually an adjective, which means that this structure can break through the space limitation and be flexible.
Back to the car itself, the architecture includes pure electric, extended range, plug-in, front drive, rear drive, four-wheel drive, small, medium and large, car, SUV and MPV-so many, is it flexible?
Structurally, it adopts centralized SOA electronic and electrical architecture, covering the vehicle end, cloud end and ecological end, supporting L3+ driving assistance and equipped with battery "fire extinguishing system". In the event of an accident, millisecond active power outage can be realized, and the spray system will be started accordingly, which can reduce the battery temperature by 80 degrees Celsius within 1 minute.
In terms of performance, equipped with integrated thermal management system and optional CO2 heat pump system, the endurance can be improved by 30% at MINUS 30 degrees Celsius.

The third of the three major technology brands: Dongfeng hydrogen ship hydrogen power brand.
Fuel cells have been under development in Japan and Europe. The brand of Dongfeng hydrogen ship released this time includes two sub-brands of Dongfeng hydrogen battery system and Dongfeng hydrogen core fuel cell stack. The former consists of hydrogen supply, gas supply and hydrothermal management; The latter includes membrane electrode, bipolar plate, catalyst and other core components of the stack.
At present, Dongfeng Hydrogen Boat has planned three kinds of hydrogen power platform products, namely 70kW, 150kW and 350kW, with the power of 20-350kW. Among them, 350 kW is the leading high-power platform in China, which can meet the demand of commercial vehicles.
At the exhibition site, I saw a hydrogen fuel truck with a length of 8.6 meters, a wheelbase of 4.7 meters and a weight of 5.8 tons. The rated power of hydrogen reactor is 120 kW, the maximum speed is 105 km, and the battery life is 400 km. It can be used not only for cargo transportation, but also for various special vehicles, such as watering, sanitation, logistics, garbage transportation and so on.
In addition to the above three major technology brands, many scientific and technological achievements were also seen at the exhibition site. For example, the Warriors luxury electric off-road architecture.

In terms of intelligent technology, Dongfeng has built a centralized SOA electronic and electrical architecture, traveled more than 2 million kilometers in Wuhan Intelligent Networking Demonstration Zone, and participated in the construction of smart transportation and smart city in xiong'an new area. The first batch of 20 Dongfeng L4 driverless buses have been displayed in xiong'an new area.
At the exhibition site, I saw an unmanned trailer head called Lapras Phantom 2.0, with a maximum allowable gross weight of 42 tons and a maximum cruising range of 300 kilometers. If this thing becomes popular, truck drivers may have to find another job.
I made a cursory visit to the technical center of Dongfeng. Although I was in a hurry, I was deeply impressed by Dongfeng's great efforts in technological transformation. In the past, some people thought that intelligent and networked new technologies were only the patents of new forces making cars. In fact, for traditional enterprises, once they move, the speed is faster, because their strength is beyond the reach of new car-making forces. As the saying goes, a finger is thicker than the waist.
In another week, the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show will be opened soon, and the brand-new electrification series products of Dongfeng Shen Feng will be released at the auto show.
