The difference between machine-made sand and river sand

I think machine-made sand and river sand are commonly used sand and gravel materials in buildings, but they have different sources, different particle sizes, different shapes, different uses, different strengths and different qualities. Machine-made sand is usually made of crushed stone with moderate particle size, regular shape, high strength and stable quality, and can be used as building materials such as concrete and mortar. River sand is the sand in natural river bed, with small particle size, random shape, low strength and unstable quality, which is mainly used to prepare concrete.
