I think of those days when we were brave and powerful, and could swallow up thousands of miles like a tiger; but looking back, under the Buddha and Li Temple, there is a sacred crow drum.
After sleeping for thousands of years, when it came out, it left behind an undeniable dynasty and a piece of history; we are your descendants, drinking the same water under the same sky, inheriting these thousands of years. We want to get closer to you, understand you, and continue our culture.
The Lijiashan Bronze Museum is located in Jiangchuan District, south of Kunming. It was completed and opened in the autumn of 1994. It displays precious items such as the "Niuhu Bronze Case" that was unearthed in 1972 and caused a sensation in the world. It can also undertake the tasks of repairing, sorting and copying cultural relics. It is the first professional bronze museum with complete functions in the country.
In 1972, the Yunnan Museum and the Jiangchuan District Cultural Center jointly excavated Lijiashan, cleared 27 tombs, and unearthed 1,300 cultural relics. Tomb No. 24 was excavated this time. The "Ox and Tiger Bronze Case" was unearthed in the cave; it is 0.43m high, 0.76m long, and weighs 30 kilograms. It consists of two oxen and one tiger. It is an ancient sacrificial utensil, used to place sacrifices during sacrifices. The back of the cow is oval and concave as the case surface, with the cow's head and horns as one end; the cow's tail stands upright like a tiger, the tiger's mouth bites the cow's tail tightly, and the forelimbs grasp the cow's buttocks to form a pattern. On the other end, the setting of the tiger can maintain the balance of force at both ends of the whole case; under the belly of the cow is a leisurely calf. The setting of the calf moves the center of gravity of the whole case downward, increasing stability. The old cow is docile and selfless, the calf is innocent and cute, and the tiger is ferocious and cruel; the cow-tiger bronze case is also an outstanding representative of ancient Chinese bronze cultural relics.
In 1992, the Yunnan Provincial Institute of Archaeology, the Yuxi Municipal Cultural Relics Management Office and the Jiangchuan District Cultural Relics Management Office jointly conducted excavations, cleared 58 tombs, and unearthed 2,200 cultural relics.
In 1994, China and Japan cooperated to excavate a tomb.
Representatives of unearthed cultural relics:
Lijiashan stands on the bank of Xingyun Lake, running east-west. The Lijiashan Ancient Tombs Group is a national key cultural relic protection unit. The "Niuhu Bronze Case" was officially recognized as a national cultural relic by the appraisal expert group of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage in 1995. The second excavation in 1992 was rated as one of the top ten archaeological sites in the country that year. One of the discoveries. Most of the cultural relics are collected in the Lijiashan Bronze Museum in Jiangchuan District.
From ancient times to the present, the bronze culture has been preserved, and the skills of hand-made bronze are even more superb;
At present, Jiangchuan bronzes include black bronze It has more than 160 products including silverware, antique copper crafts, tourist souvenirs and copper cookware, with an annual production capacity of more than 100,000 pieces and an output value of hundreds of millions of yuan. Bronze crafts have won the gold medal in China's first craft gift competition, "Yunnan Province Excellent Tourism Product" and Kunming World Expo logo product. They have been rated as excellent products by the China Art and Casting Association many times. Jiangchuan Bronze Craft Products Factory's products represented by Pioneer Cow have won 5 national design patents.
Craftsmen must work hard on their craftsmanship. Look at the hammered flowers on the copperware, every detail is a sign of hard work. Each hammer blow is prioritized and rhythmically, and it takes tens of thousands of strikes to take shape. The copperware shop slowly emits a pleasant knocking sound, attracting tourists from outside the country to come and watch. Knowledgeable customers, when choosing a copper pot, will carefully look at whether the hammered flowers are distributed evenly and finely.
To transform a copper plate into an object, it is born by the craftsman dropping a hammer; after tens of thousands of hammers, it is polished by hand, welding scars are removed, polished, cleaned, and finally it is finished with precision The meticulous craftsman completes the transformation of copper, and the beautiful vessel appears brilliantly in the fire and hammering.
There are many types of copperware, but cooking pots are very popular and are very common in people's homes in Jiangchuan. The locals like to be lively and like to invite a group of friends and relatives to their homes every now and then to cook. The dishes are very similar to today's hot pot, but the dishes cooked in the pot taste better. Add some dipping water and a pot of copper pot rice, and the taste will make your mouth water just thinking about it.
If you have the opportunity to go to Jiangchuan, I believe your trip to Jiangchuan will be more meaningful if you understand these things
