Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Chemistry
The Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Chemistry was established in 1978 with the approval of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. It is a scientific research institution directly under the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, and its administration is managed by Northwest University. Mainly engaged in basic applied scientific research in the field of fine organic chemistry, with research directions in medicine, pesticides, organic synthesis, etc.
The Institute of Chemistry has strong technical force, advanced scientific research equipment, and strong scientific and technological development capabilities. The institute currently has 11 employees, including 1 professor, 2 researchers, 2 associate researchers, and 2 doctoral supervisors. It has received more than 20 funding projects from the National Science Foundation, provincial, ministerial and municipal scientific research authorities, more than ten technical appraisal results, and won the National Invention Award, the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the Provincial Invention Patent Gold Award, the Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award, etc. Multiple awards; published more than 300 papers, dozens of papers included in "SCI" ??and "EI", and published many monographs.
In terms of teaching work, the Institute of Chemistry has a master's degree authorization point in organic chemistry, and has trained dozens of master's degree students in organic chemistry, making positive contributions to the country's modernization.
