I. Scientific research achievements
As of February, 2023, in the past five years, the College has won 26 outstanding scientific research achievement awards at or above the provincial (ministerial) level, including the 15th "Five One Project Award" 1 item for spiritual civilization construction in Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China; Undertake more than 600 horizontal projects entrusted by government departments, enterprises and institutions; Approved 6 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects16, and 25 national authorized patents 1025, including more than 80 invention patents 180; Published more than 50 academic works/kloc-0; There are 3,927 academic papers published, 202 published by core journals in Peking University and above 1, 695 collected by three retrieval systems, 56 published by CSSCI journals 1, and 282 published by CSCD journals.
Second, the department's major
As of June 20 18, there are 58 undergraduate majors in the school, covering 9 disciplines such as engineering, literature, management, science, art, economics, law, education and agriculture. Key majors: Chongqing key disciplines: China language and literature, environmental science and engineering, regional economics; School-level key disciplines: China language and literature, environmental science and engineering, electronic science and technology, applied economics, mathematics, Marxist theory, foreign language and literature, fine arts, physical education and training.

As of February 2023, the school has 29 provincial key laboratories, engineering technology centers and other scientific research platforms, including 2 provincial key laboratories and 7 provincial and ministerial innovation teams (innovative research groups); Chongqing Key Research Bases of Humanities and Social Sciences: Three Gorges Cultural and Social Development Research Institute and Research Center for Sustainable Development of Three Gorges Reservoir Area; Key Laboratory of Chongqing University; Chongqing Engineering Technology Research Center;
Fourth, the teaching staff.
As of February, 2023, the school has faculty 1 390 people, including 96 full-time teachers1person. There are 406 full-time teachers with senior professional and technical positions, including 137 full-time teachers with master's degree or above and 2 15 full-time teachers with doctoral degrees. It has Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security national expert service base, Chongqing municipal academician expert workstation and postdoctoral research mobile station.
