Liu Shuangjiang's Personal Profile

He graduated from Microbiology and Biochemistry of Hebei University 1984, obtained a master's degree from Microbiology of Zhejiang Agricultural University 1987, and obtained a doctorate from Department of Environmental Engineering of Tsinghua University 199 1. He has been a senior visiting scholar in Germany, Japan and the United States. He is currently the director of the Institute of Microbiology of China Academy of Sciences and the deputy director of the Academic Committee of the Institute of Microbiology of China Academy of Sciences. Editors of Applied and Environmental Microbiology, Microbiology Archives, Microbiology and Environment, Journal of Environmental Science, Journal of Bioengineering, Journal of Microbiology and china environmental science. The microbial degradation of aromatic compounds and its application in the treatment of polluted environment have made remarkable achievements. More than 60 SCI papers were published in domestic and foreign magazines, and 2 patents were obtained.
