I think the internationalization of intellectual property rights has two disadvantages for China:
It is technical repression and the patent licensing fee is high. 2. Loss of genetic resources.
As a representative country of the third world countries, it has opened its doors and accepted various treaties: PTC, Paris Convention, Berne Convention and The Hague Convention to be signed soon. The cost of patent wars every year is enormous. Send money to buy technology.
Yunnan Baiyao is known as the secret recipe, but its formula has not been honestly announced internationally. It's just confidential for China people.
2. The biggest harm is mainly the loss of genetic resources. China has a vast territory and rich resources, stretching for 5,000 years. It is useless to cherish and take it out of the country after the formula is developed. Although the patent law stipulates that the invention made in China needs to undergo confidential examination when applying for a patent abroad. However, people can choose not to take your patent right in China to avoid confidentiality review.
This is an awkward place.
The shortcomings are very obvious. Our country is exchanging the heritage of our ancestors for the future. As for which is more important, we won't speculate.
