Properties and uses of silicon nitride combined with silicon carbide

1, silicon nitride combined with silicon carbide products, hard texture, Mohs hardness of about 9, is the second only to diamond in non-metallic materials.

2. Silicon nitride bonded silicon carbide products have high room temperature strength, and the strength and hardness are almost the same as room temperature at high temperature of 1200- 1400℃. With the different use atmosphere, the maximum safe use temperature can reach 1650- 1750℃.
