Brief introduction of methanol to gasoline

MTHF technology for methanol to gasoline is an innovative technology for directly synthesizing hydrocarbon fuel from methanol through two-step reaction. This process is different from MTG methanol to gasoline process, and has great innovation in process, equipment design and production debugging. The products produced by this device are all in line with and superior to GB17930-2011national standard. More than 95% of them are hydrocarbons with high calorific value below C 10, which are all high-quality gasoline components and contain alcohols and ethers that can provide more than 2% oxygen. Petrochemical gasoline with octane number up to 93# and 93 # was studied. The products have been tested for physical and chemical properties and evaluated by engine bench test by the authoritative organization-Internal Combustion Engine Oil Inspection and Evaluation Center of Mechanical Industry. The results show that all the inspection items of the product are within the index range; Power, fuel economy, cleanliness, wear and emission are all better than petrochemical gasoline. The product has been tried by more than 200 vehicles in the past two years and is in good condition. A process for producing hydrocarbon fuel from fixed-bed methanol mainly includes the following steps: after liquid methanol is gasified, it enters an alcohol etherification tower, and under the action of a catalyst, dimethyl ether and water vapor are generated; the dimethyl ether and water vapor are mixed with the tail gas of a booster, enter an ether alkylation reactor, and undergo a second condensation dehydration reaction with the catalyst to generate hydrocarbons and water vapor; then, after twice cooling and separation, gasoline enters a product tank, water enters a boiler to generate steam, and the tail gas enters an alkylation tower after passing through an absorption tower and a booster, so as to realize fully closed-circuit production. This technology has independent intellectual property rights and has applied for national patent. The 10,000-ton/class production experimental project of methanol to hydrocarbon fuel has passed the appraisal of national experts. The appraisal committee consists of 1 1 experts and professors, including the State Council Counselor Xu Dingming, China Academy of Engineering Vice President Xie Kechang and China Academy of Engineering Academician Jin Yong. The level of achievement is leading in China.
