Mao Kai, chief technology officer of the "high-speed flying train" project of Aerospace Science and Industry Group, said that the high-speed flying train not only shortens the time and space distance between cities, but also has many advantages such as being unaffected by weather conditions, not consuming fossil energy, and seamlessly connecting with urban subways. It is the development trend and technical commanding heights in the future transportation field.
It is understood that at present, three companies in the world have announced the research on the transportation system with the speed of 1000 km/h, including American HTT Company, Hyperloop One Company and China Aerospace Science and Industry Group Company. Mao Kai said that companies in the United States started early, while enterprises in China started high. Aerospace science and technology was the first group company in the world to propose a supersonic ground transportation system by using space supersonic related technologies.
China's space accumulation for many years has laid a foundation for the research and development of high-speed flying trains. Mao Kai introduced that aerospace science and technology has rich practical experience and technical accumulation in major project system engineering, and has the necessary simulation modeling and large-scale system test capabilities for large projects, as well as world-class supersonic aircraft design capabilities, which provides an important foundation for the construction of high-speed flight train projects.

At present, more than 20 scientific research institutions at home and abroad have been United to establish the first international high-speed flight train industry alliance in China.
