What is industrial property right?

Industrial property right, also known as industrial ownership, refers to the exclusive rights that people enjoy for intellectual achievements such as creation, invention and distinctive signs used in commodity production and circulation in a certain region and period. Industrial property right is the exclusive right, use right, income right and disposal right of patents and trademarks granted by the state to patentees and trademark owners within the validity period, so industrial property right is exclusive. In order to strengthen trademark management, protect the exclusive right to use trademarks, encourage producers and operators to ensure the quality of goods and services, safeguard the reputation of trademarks, protect the interests of consumers and producers and operators, and promote the development of socialist market economy, Article 1 of the Trademark Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) is formulated.
