According to legend, in the Southern Song Dynasty, Zhang Shengyi and Zhang Sheng both built kilns in Longquan, Zhejiang. The kiln burned by Zhang Shengyi is called Ge Kiln, also known as Ryukyu Kiln. Ge Kiln uses the difference of expansion coefficient between green tire and glaze to form patterns such as "hundred wastes" and "jade patterns" according to the density of enamel, which produces different decorative effects, similar to the official kiln under the altar in the Southern Song Dynasty. The porcelain handed down from ancient times in Ge Kiln has a thick tire and good glaze opacity. Most of them are elegant beige or powder cyan, and the patterns are artificially colored, which is called "gold wire". For example, in the Qing Dynasty, it was like wearing a bottle in a Ge kiln.
