Due to the differences in body shape, color and coat type of some dog breeds in individual shows, they will be competed separately in separate shows. As with the all-breed Dog Show, grouping for individual shows is also done based on gender and age. Usually, it can be divided into 4 groups according to age, one group is 6-9 months old, one group is 9-12 months old, one group is 12-18 months old, and one group is 18 months old or above. Based on gender, the selected winner will be awarded the Best of Variety (BOV).
