A Review of the Documentary Qinghai-Tibet Railway

Watch with Life —— Comment on Qinghai-Tibet Railway

"In the morning, I stood on the pasture of youth and saw the vulture covered with the glow. At dusk, I stood on a high hill and watched the railway built to my hometown. Dragons climb mountains and mountains, bringing benefits to the snowy plateau. It is a magical heaven ... "The Qinghai-Tibet Railway, after half a century, crossed the highest plateau on earth. Today, this railway with a length of 1000 km has been paved on the roof of the world, and the life marks of countless builders are deeply engraved on the hard rails. Until the 1950s, it was still a road full of death records, and its signpost was the white bones stretching in the wilderness. On the afternoon of June 27th, 2007, 10, after the headquarters organized us to watch six episodes of the documentary "Qinghai-Tibet Railway", I realized that building this plateau railway with the highest altitude and the longest route mileage in the world was an unprecedented feat in the history of human railway construction. The total length of the Golmud-Lhasa section of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway is1142km, and almost all the areas it passes through are above 3,000m, with the highest point of 5,072m, of which the line above 4,000m is 960km long and the line above 5,000m is over 50km. There is also no man's land of 1, 3 1 km, and the geological conditions along the line are as follows. Insufficient oxygen, the oxygen content in the air is only 60% of the sea level. The annual average temperature here is about MINUS 5 degrees Celsius, the extreme minimum temperature is MINUS 45 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature difference between day and night can reach 30 degrees Celsius. Many sections lack drinking water and are at the source of plague. Against all kinds of difficulties and obstacles, the builders of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway have just overcome three world-wide construction problems, namely, cold and lack of oxygen, frozen soil and fragile ecology, and built a railway that is impossible to build in the eyes of foreigners, a modern railway that basically realizes "unmanned" automatic management and "maintenance-free" equipment, and an eco-friendly railway with the characteristics of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. My highest evaluation of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway is its "four best": Kunlun Mountain Tunnel is 1.686 meters long, which is the longest plateau frozen soil tunnel in the world; Wind-volcano tunnel is 4905 meters above sea level, the highest frozen soil tunnel in the world; Qingshui river bridge, with a total length of 1 1.4 km, is the longest railway bridge built on plateau permafrost. Amdo Pujia base is 4700 meters above sea level, the highest in the world. These are the challenges that excite China today. There is no doubt that this is a difficult challenge, but it has aroused the bloody and enterprising ambition of an ancient nation. During the construction of Qinghai-Tibet Railway, spiritual strength supported every builder. The silent plateau wasteland from ancient times to the present is a forbidden area and the limit of life. However, the spirit forged by the builders of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway moved and inspired a rapidly changing era. This is the spirit of "challenging the limit and creating first-class" cultivated by hundreds of thousands of builders of Qinghai-Tibet Railway in hardships. This spirit is only used for the Qinghai-Tibet Railway and belongs to the patent of the builders of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. When I saw the natural expressions of countless builders interviewed by reporters in front of the camera and heard the hot words in their mouths, I couldn't help crying. Among them are old people who are over 50 years old, students who have just graduated from school, young people in their prime, newlyweds, handsome men and beautiful women. The magnificent scene of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway was written by this ordinary individual and described by these industrious and skillful hands. It is such a group of China people with yellow skin and black eyes who have broken a history, a world and a myth. While creating miracles across the plateau, they are still ordinary and ordinary. At this moment, I have an impulse of blood boiling in my heart, that is, to continue to write Mr. Wei Wei's Who is the cutest person. At the same time, the simple sentence in the movie "I am quite satisfied with myself, but I owe too much to my children" also deeply touched me, a touch that I have never felt before, really. After watching the Qinghai-Tibet Railway from beginning to end, my eyes are always wet. As a railway builder, it is a lifelong regret that I failed to participate in the construction of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, because there is only one Qinghai-Tibet Railway in China and even in the world.
